Tabling of the 2006-2007 Departmental Performance Reports

The Honourable Vic Toews, President of the Treasury Board, today tabled 90 performance reports on behalf of federal departments and agencies.

Among the list are the departmental performace reports for:

• Supreme Court of Canada
• Courts Administration Service (Federal Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada and Tax Court of Canada)
• Justice Canada
• Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs

Every year, federal departments and agencies publish Reports on Plans and Priorities outlining their strategic goals. At the end of the fiscal year, Departmental Performance Reports look back on actual accomplishments and expenditures, to assess how well the agencies performed as measured against the objectives that were set out in the Report on Plans and Priorities.
