IFLA Global Vision Ideas Store Offers Thousands of Ideas for Libraries

IFLA, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions, has a Global Vision Ideas Store where librarians can find thousands of ideas:
"The IFLA Ideas Store is the culmination of a global consultation process that IFLA undertook through its Global Vision project. Since 2017, over 30,000 people from 190 UN Member States have shared their opinions about the challenges that libraries face. To date, over 8,500 ideas have been shared (...)"

"The ideas are there to inspire you to bring about change in your community, offer better services, strengthen your library association, and to support delivery of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals."

"From advocacy actions to steps to address community needs, from technological and digital transformation to changing behaviours and developing young leaders, the ideas can inspire you to action. These actions will be key to delivering on the new IFLA Strategy 2019-2024."

It is chaired by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada.

13 Questions With Sarah Khraishi - Records Coordinator With Government of the Northwest Territories

The librarianship.ca website has been running a series of librarian profiles called 13 Questions With ...

Here is the most recent one about Sarah Khraishi, Records Coordinator, Government of the Northwest Territories:
"Career advice – what’s your top tip?
I’ve tried to make myself do things professionally that scare me–lots of public speaking, poster presentations, stuff like that. Sometimes there are good reasons not to do something, but I’ve found that I tend to talk myself out of stuff if it makes me nervous, and that’s not a good enough reason for me to avoid things I want to do and that would be good for me."
